Walking on Fire

Walking on Fire

One of the people who influenced my life in the field of personal development was Tony Robbins.

His book Awaken the Giant Within inspired me to think bigger and take massive action.

I remember him saying that while many speakers spoke once a month, he spoke every night.

He believed in massive action.

I took that lesson to heart.

While other students read only the prescribed textbook, I would borrow several books on the same subject from the library and study them all.

When I joined Toastmasters, I did not join one club. I joined four.

I was attending meetings almost every night.

Today, I write one book or more a day and hope to publish 1,000 books before the end of the year.

I know I am not the fastest learner.

That is why I compensate with repetition and practice.

Over time, I discovered that deep understanding comes from doing something again and again.

When Tony Robbins conducted his Unleash the Power Within seminar in Singapore, I participated in the fire walk.

I walked across hot coals and ended up with blisters on my feet.

The fire walk did not teach me that I was fearless.

It taught me that many limits exist only in the mind.

Ordinary people can achieve extraordinary results when they are willing to do the work long after others have stopped.
